Abstract
In developmental psychology we are talking about the crisis when the tension peaks among the driving forces of development and when it is decided whether an individual meets certain developmental task and move on the imaginary trajectory forward. The paper called ""The crisis of faith as part of the spiritual development of man"" does not view the crisis as a ""dark age "" of life , but as an opportunity to further shift and growth.
The aim of this paper is to outline ways to identify a crisis and deal with it, so that its mening is gained and the reasons that led to this moment were understood. The crisis is one of the most important forms of development and the most useful sources of self-knowledge.
The paper deals with the typology of the crisis in the spiritual field, the possibilities of accompanying people who experience the crisis of faith, but especially the sense of crisis in the life of man. This article tries to search theological point of view and resources that would help to orient a person in the crisis situation.
The role of church is also mentioned. The author draws not only from the scientific literature (psychological and theological), but also of practical experience in the field of crisis intervention for adults and children.
