A highly effective treatment for deep hemangiomas and arteriovenous malformations with intralesional laser treatment

Abstract
Intralesional laser therapy seems to be effective treatment modality for deep hemangioma as well as for selected cases of vascular malformations. Even in the age of very successful pharmacological therapy we have to have in our armentarium surgical procedures.
Intralesional laser therapy is offering interesting ratio effects/side-effects/economy. We can promise significant reduction of lesion in every case.
Total elimination is possible but dependent on many factors (laser type, size and localization of tumor, surgeons experience etc.). Multiple treatments are often needed with significant risk of side-effects (4-20%).
Those can be minimized to zero with improved combined technique.
