Abstract

Gastric cancer is a malignant disease which has generally a very bad prognosis. The frequency of occurence of this disease in the population is dependent on the age and localisation.

Most frequently , this disease has occured in Japan, China, countries of the South Africa and Eastern Europe for a long time but men are more likely to suffer from this disease than women with a ratio of 2:1.
