Abstract

The aim of our meta-analysis was to determine a potencial benefit of radial approach in primary PCI for STEMI. We analyzed 8 studies with 8 131 patients undergoing primary PCI via transradial and transfemoral approach.

Transradial access was associated with reduced mortality and MACCE at 30 days. Randomized controlled trials are needed to better assess this association.
