Abstract
Stroke is a serious handicap which is one of the leading causes of death in western countries and can cause long term effects on motor and cognitive functions. Improving the aftercare leads to prolongign life after stroke.
Recently we can see expanding a rang of treatments for professional AAA/AAT (Animal Assisted Activity and Animal Assisted Therapy). The article is about AAT in pacients after stroke in hospital.
