Abstract

The main object is to analyze an accuracy of selected sporttesters using GPS in different environments and conditions. For analyzing we chose Garmin 910XT, Garmin 620, Polar RC3, Suunto Ambit 2R and Adidas Run Smart.

We compared the apparatus on the two 5 km long sections (straight section without excess and confusing sinuous terrain) at four speeds. During the accuracy measurement on straight section was found the average deviation by Garmin 910 TX -0,15%, Garmin 620 -0,19%, Polar RC3 -0,25 %, Suunto Ambit 2R -0,26%, Adidas Smart Run -0,43 %.

On the confusing sinuous terrain was the average deviation of Garmin 910 TX -0,48 %, Garmin 620 -1,025%, Polar RC3 -0,8 %, Suunto Ambit 2R -0,755%, Adidas Smart Run -2,885 %.
