Abstract

This article considers various possibilities for the emergence of misconceptions and presents appropriate methods for their diagnosis in practice. Working to combat misconceptions (or preconceptions) in instruction is very important, because children's perceptions of the world greatly impact learning processes.

The article presents methods for geography instruction that seek to minimize a number of misconceptions.
