The apartment house in Prague-Radlice was constructed on a relatively steep slope, the ground consisted of completely weathered Ordovician shales. As an indirect consequence, the props for the concrete plate casing had to be arranged against the sliding.
Due to the financial reasons, the system of concrete panels was chosen. Stability was numerically evaluated, whereas attention was paid to the shearing on local contacts between panels.
The resulting arrangement of panels was successful, the displacements of props reached 2 mm in maximum.
