Abstract
Teaching Czech to non-native speakers brings about specific difficulties. The study programme Czech for forigners is intended for those whose mother tongue is not Czech.
However, some applicants to this programme have completed Czech high-school leaving exam or come from families where one of the parents is of Czech origin. The article describes selected questions of presentation of the Common Czech, of the Czech grammar etc.
