Abstract
Monograph focuses on the issue of the relationship between physician and patient as the basic phenomenon of clinical medicine. Doctor and patient relationship is reflected and analyzed by leading experts in the field of ethics, law, psychology, sociology, but also major clinical disciplines, such as surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and general practice.
Attention is also paid on special issues such as the interview with the patient, the patient's motivation for treatment, the stress in the relation between physician and patient. This is the first monographic publication in the Czech Republic, which focuses on various aspects of the relationship between physician and patient.
