Abstrakt
For the first time, data on the occurrence of human alveolar echinococcosis (AE) in the Czech Republic were summarized within a period of 2007-2014. The examination of a total of 1,740 persons revealed AE in 8 males and 12 females.
During initial diagnose, the youngest and the oldest patients with AE were 21 and 82 years old, respectively.
