Abstract

Analysis of the processes of social and cultural mixture in America, in the context of neo-colonial competition of the 19th century and the missionary endeavors of Protestant churches. The monography is based upon the sources produced by the Moravian Church, active in the region of the Mosquito Coast in contemporary Nicaragua.
