Abstract
Adrenal insufficiency is a potentially life threatening condition. The paper deals with differential diagnostics and limits of dynamic testing, possibilities of de-escalation of corticosteroid therapy and substitution therapy with glucocorticoids, mineralocorticoids and androgens.
New replacement possibilities are mentioned including those in development.
