Abstract
The article presents basic information about a language skill test that was taken in 2013 as part of the CLoSE project (Czech Longitudinal Study in Education) by pupils, who had participated in the PIRLS and TIMSS international surveys in 2011. Besides describing the fundamental characteristic of the test, attention is paid to selected phenomena and tasks with regard to results that the pupils achieved in the test.
