Population development of municipalities in the area of intensive socio-economic ties to the Nuclear Power Plant Dukovany 1990-2014
Abstract
The aim of the map sheet is to use existing knowledge of population development in the period 1991-2014 and of the current age structure and to identify areas in which we can assume different forms of the future development of the population within the region of the Dukovany nuclear power plant. The map sheet uses data from the Czech Statistical Office.
Furthermore, the map shows several variants of differentiation of territory established on the basis of (i.) the transport accessibility of largest cities, (ii.) delimitation of inner periphery, and (iii.) zones of residential suburbanization in 2010.
