The legal-historical analysis of the project of George of Podebrady, whose 550th anniversary we recently commemorated and which is undoubtedly one of the most well-known political projects of Czech history if not among them even the most famous of all. The study, published in the monographie Seeking the New Europe, comes to the conclusion that it was a legally thought-out text, which moreover exceeded the legal culture of its time.The individual phases and particularly the actual contents of the proposal are also analysed, as well as its motivation.
