Some aspects od derivative acquisition in Roman law and in contemporary law

Abstract

The new Czech Civil Code deviates from Roman law in case of transfer of ownership of the contract. While in Roman law ownership passes only by tradition, according to the new Civil Code the effect takes place already with the making of the contract The chapter deals with comparison of both derivative types of acquisition.
