Publication at Faculty of Law |
2015

Abstract

The objective of the monograph is to evaluate the level of harmoni-sation of some institutes of substantive criminal law, namely of se-lected offences which shall be harmonised in the national law of the Czech Republic as well as in the Slovak Republic. The structure of the monograph is divided into two parts.

While the first part focuses on the Czech legal system, the second one deals with the relevant issues from the perspective of the Slovak legal system. Both parts are com-posed of five chapters analysing the level of harmonisation of selected Euro crimes, namely terrorist offences, trafficking in human beings and sexual exploitation of women and children, money laundering, racism and xenophobia, and the endangerment and damaging of the environment.
