The language of mass media as a factor of standardization of Slavonic languages in the 19th century

Abstract

For most modern Slavonic standard languages the 19th is a deciding stage of their development. At the same time press made a rapid development and became a true mass media.

We are therefore entitled to ask what was the role of press during the processes of standardization of Slavonic languages in the 19th century and how these processes can be researched in electronic corpuses.
