Prisoner's Fees from Czech and International Perspective - 2nd part

Abstract

The debate over pay-to-stay and other fees paid by prisoners is not very common in European context compared with the American. Author presents Czech situation, describes international and intern human rights critique including authors arguing that such fees are inefficient.

Situations across countries of Council of Europe is examined and then compared and sorted in two categories. Author further proposes recommendations to be made by Czech legislator in order to improve the situation and decrease the amount of recidivism.
