Abstract
The handbook presents an short theoretical introduction and description of correspondence - its classification, presentation of social and language norms, its historical development (starting from hand-written and typewritten letters to e-mails and SMS) and illustrates lots of examples of correspondence practice on which are base numerous practical tasks and excercises. Rich illustrating material comes from different types of written correspondence, namely contemporary, common, public and private and from varios communicative spheres.
Authentic texts are used there - forms including filled and written letters of diverse content. Excercises and tasks are differenciated according to nature and difficulty, they can be done by students with different knowldege of Czech.
