From Bosworth to Stoke : Consolidating the position of Henry VII Tudor to the English throne

Abstract

The chapter analyses the consolidation of position of the first King of England from the House of Tudor, Henry VII, on the English throne in 1485-1487. It focuses primarily on the assessment of the legal claim of Henry VII to the throne, his marriage to Elizabeth of York and the Earl of Lincoln uprising.
