Abstract
The present article is predominantly a synthesis of diary testimonies resulting from the author's first experience from immersion in political parties in Latin America. The aim is to point out, through technical and methodological questions, the possible unexpected barriers or surprises, that a young researcher could encounter despite his strict abidance by methodological rules.
