Abstract
The book explores the theme of human resources in the context of social entreprises. Based on an extensive literature review and analysis of secondary data, the book describes the specific situation of social enterprises in the Czech Republic in the context of developments in the EU and the US.
Combining the perspective of human resources management, legal studies and volunteering studies, the book shows that the basic challenge for human resources management in social enterprises stems from the combination of profit and nonprofit motives, values and resources, such as volunteering.
