Historical development of the concept of the human dignity and its integrating to the legal order

Abstract

The notion of human dignity is contained in all catalogues of human rights and it is indivisible part of the national constitutions. However, currently there is not existing legal definition of the concept of human dignity.

Article focuses on interpretation of the concept of human dignity, differentiates among different types of human dignity an briefly discusses how the concept of human dignity evolved in people's minds in history. In conclusion it briefly focuses on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as the Declaration set the true meaning to the concept of human dignity.
