Abstract
The contribution reacts to the cases in the Czech transposition practice when EU directives are, unfortunately, mechanically copied or mechanically reformulated. It is stressed in the contribution that such mechanical approach to transposition should be avoided.
Any copying or reformulation should be based on thorough analysis of the content of the directive as well as the content and terminology of relevant national laws.
