Lieux et objets de mémoire in archaeology: some fields of study promising to be fruitful

Abstract

This paper is a kind of supplement to the contribution by the present author in the Festschrift for Boguś Gediga;1 it tries to inaugurate discussion by notes on specific fields where the approach suggested by several French historians (cf. Nora 1984-91; Vallat ed. 2008; Etienne - Schultze eds. 2005) can be applied.
