Abstract
The decision Von Hannover v Germany by European Court of Human Rights was announced on 24. June 2004.
The principles of this judgement are basic source for interpretation for Czech courts in the cases of protection of privacy and image right. However, in 2012 and 2013 there were issued two decisions Von Hannover 2 and 3 that modified the conclusions from 2004.
