Abstract
Inflammation of the jejunum, ileum, caecum, colon and rectum is traditionally connected with inflammatory bowel disease. But a wide variety of diseases are associated with inflammation in this region.
These include other inflammatory bowel diseases, microscopic colitis, infections, drug-related colitis, infiltration, post-irradiation enteritis, celiac disease, vasculitis and others.
