Abstract
The study discusses the formation of political and economic-theoretical discourse on the economic crisis that unfolded on the grounds of the League of Nations. The main forum for technical discussions became the World Economic Conference in Geneva in May and November 1927.
Difficult negotiations and theoretical debates have resulted in the closure of major multilateral contract document on retail development on the principle of MFN.
