Abstract
Article examines the differences in legal regulation of the documentary letter of credit in the Civil Code. Documentary letter of credit is a special kind of letter of credit.
In the case of a documentary letter of credit, the issuer of the letter of credit provides a performance to the beneficiary it is presented with documents determined by the letter of credit in accordance with the terms of the letter of credit.
