Identification of communicative functions of utterance at basic school

Abstract

:In the contribution, we concentrate on partial data given in the research of communicative functions of utterance, carried out in Czech basic schools. The research was a part of a grant project.

Pupils in Czech primaryschools are not familiar with education of communicative functions, however, its acquisition is connected with the development of pupils' communicative competence, which is a reason to include it into the education. Not accepting protests that the topic is too hard to teach small pupils, the research demonstrates that pupils inprimaryschools are able to identify and name functions expressed with standardized speech formulas.
