Abstrakt
The contribution introduces into the chapter "Translation" of the volume "Transculturality. Classical texts".
It discusses the different concepts of translations and outlines their opening to cultural science in the so-called "translational turn". At last it locates the texts of Walter Benjamin, Michail Bachtin, Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak und Alexander García Düttmann, which are gathered in the chapter, in this horizon.
