Evaluating of Linguistic competence through Theatre pedagogy

Abstract

The essay relates to the presentation of the basic rules of lingvodidactic method called theatre pedagogy (referred to in the following text as ""MJT"") and its concept of grammar teaching. The main objective of MJT is to develop the communication skills of students who are studying Czech for foreigners.

Through this technique, we describe a possibility for the teaching through theatre pedagogy keeping focus on the linguistic competence. The essay presents as well a method of testing grammar elements of choice including the annotation of ""mistakes"" and their classification for further scoring.

The theory has also been validated during our research (through testing with real students); the results are included and commented as well in this essay.
