At the Very Peak of Jude's Life: Portraits of Chosen Judges of the Constitutional Court in the Czech Republic

Abstract

The book is devoted to the - for continental jurisprudence poorly covered - topic of personality of judges. First part of the book explains (from jurisprudential point of view) why it is important to take interest not only in an issue "how and what judges do" however also "who judges are".

Following part consists of chapters devoted to description of life of chosen judges of Czech Constitutional Court. Last part of the book analyses development in a way how constitutional court judges has been chosen in the Czech Republic.
