Abstract
A detailed critical commentary on Akademická příručka českého jazyka (Academic Handbook of Czech Language) published by ACADEMIA and certified by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic as a codifying manual. The author examines the relationship between Slovník spisovné češtiny, Pravidla českého pravopisu and this volume, pointing out differences and discussing their implications.
