Abstract
The article is focused on the history of the Czech translation of the Lord's Prayer from the 13th century to the present, both as an individual or liturgical prayer, and as a part of the biblical text. The Czech version of Our Father is characterized by a number of specific features of the language "in the touch of transcendence."
