Final report on research outputs obtained based on the Contract on research collaboration: Methods for quality evaluation and classification of jewellery stones
Abstract
This report summarizes studied research topics and individual results obtained during the year 2015 in connection with the research tasks specified by the industrial partner Preciosa, a.s. The research concentrates on mathematical methods for digital image processing in a particular application in quality evaluation and classification of jewellery stones.
Emphasize is put especially on removing of unwanted artifacts appearing on images from a camera system with high-speed cadence. Effective implementation of proposed methods is included.
