Abstract
The study highlights representative Czech historiography achievements on the field of social history in the long 19th Century, which were published in the last twenty - five years. It also presents its topic as a field of research situated between conceptual continuity with previous approaches (above all in 1980s) and discontinuity based upon methodological innovations (cultural anthropology, linguistic, cultural and spatial turn).
Social conflics are also very important for the author of this study in this respect.
