The article is a part of the book, which is devoted to Peter-Christian Müller-Graff, since 1994 Professor of Civil Law, Commercial Law and Business Law, European and Comparative Law in Heidelberg. Good 160 friends and colleagues from Germany and abroad, companions and students in science and practice devote to this occasion a commemorative contributions.

The ordination of the right to freedom of privacy is as important to him as the paradigm of the common good horizonte.The essay is a reflection of the main common objectives of the European Union after the Lisbon Treaty and the conceptual approach to these goals.
