Postwar Japanese Literature in Relation to Postwar Historical Transition

Abstrakt

Selected points of modern Japanese literature of 1950s focusing on remarks and references about the period of time when the novels and short stories were written are presented in the article with the aim to affirmate the direct impact of historical and social transition on literary work, traced in the novels' subjects, themes, motifs and narrative.
