The autors present the case of 57-year-old woman with a very rare extragenital malignant retroperitoneal Mülleran carcinosarcoma invading the inferior vena cava. Tumor resection with partial resection of the vena cava wall and resection of metastases in the pelvic area is described.
The autors further discuss diagnostic options of metastases of this tumour and recommended adjuvant chemotherapy.
