Abstract
The article describes proceedings published on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the teaching of the Czech language at the university of Texas in Austin under the name Centennial of Czech Studies at the University of Texas at Austin: cheers to the Next Hundred Years! 1915-2015. His editors, which have been Lida Cope (East Carolina University) and Mark Hopkins (the University of Texas at Austin), managed to create a historically important and interesting document, offering readers a mosaic of diverse texts and the collection of valuable ilustračních photos.
The book surveys the hundred years of the history of Czech life, culture, and education in Texas.
