Abstract
This chapter presents the Czech translation of the work Figuras de la Pasión del Senor written by the Spanish author Gabriel Miró. It describes the historical context in which the translation was published, the personality of the translator and the publishing house in Stará Říše directed by Josef Florián.
The paper also includes stylistic and content analysis of the original and the translation.
