The survival difference among diabetic patients according to prpimary renal disease. National wide study in chronic dialysis patients in the Czech Republic

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus has become the leading cause of end-stage renal disease worldwide. Recently, almost 24% of patients entering renal replacement therapy in Europe has been referred as having diabetic nephropathy as the primary renal disease leading to end-stage renal disease.
