The combinatioon of calcium channel blocker and diuretic in treatment of arterial hypertension

Abstract

The combinatioon of calcium channel blocker and diuretic was used in several prospective studies of arterial hypertension. It has been shown to be efficient in terms of blood pressure lowering as well as in decreasing the risk of cardiovascular events.

Therefore, it is one of basic combinations recommended by the Czech Society of Hypertension.
