Abstract

The paper is designed as a review article on the issue of physical activities management system in Czech republic from ontogenetic point of view. We work on the assumption that obesity and overweight are serious issues not only in Czech republic but also abroad.

One of the causes of these issues is a lack of physical activity. We explain the term physical literacy which is closely linked with active lifestyle.

We characterize the influencing of physical activities in particular age groups based on milestones in school education. We focus on educational institutions and their general objectives and curricular documents.

We chose an example of lifelong physical activities management system from abroad (Canada) and compare it with possibilities and system in Czech republic.
