Sculpture of the Luxembourg period in northwestern Bohemia and Opitz's lesson of formalism

Abstract

Chapter deals with the sculpture of the 14th century during the reign of the Luxembourg dynasty, examples of which are preserved in northwest Bohemia. It deals especially with the approach to this topic by the art historian Josef Opitz.
