This article is devoted to the off-hand glass partition wall from Mikulov, which was designed in 1977 by Frantisek Vízner, who approached this task in entirely uncommon way especially as regards colour which he handles very spontaneously nearly like action painter. The main aim of this study is not only to make the wider audience familiar with this unknown work, as it has not been published yet, but also to present Vízner as a very spontaneous artist.
I am attempting to describe and examine in detail essential features of the work to point out those traits that make it different from Vízner's other realizations in the field of glass in architecture. It also was my intention to find reasons of the departure from Vízner's usual method most often based on simple shapes and restrained colouring.
