Abstract

Review of an important new book by Jaroslav Peregrin on inferentialism in its broad scope, particularly adressing the general philosophical issues of tenability and alledged circularity of the doctrine, as well as its application in mathematical logic. Special interest lies in its assesment of existing logics on the foundation of the inferentialist and expressivist doctrine.
